🔒 We collect zero personal data

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026 · Applies to all Solutive apps

The short version

This policy covers two different things: this website, and our apps. Our apps process your files entirely on your device. We do not collect, upload, or store your files or personal information. No accounts are required. No tracking. This policy explains the limited ways we interact with your data and the third-party tools we use.

This website

This website (solutive.app) is separate from our apps, and it does collect some information. We have tried to keep the list short and to explain why each item exists.

The contact form. When you send us a message we receive the name, email address, optional phone or WhatsApp number, and the message you typed. We use it only to reply to you. The form asks you to agree before it sends, and that agreement is the basis on which we handle the details. Enquiries are delivered to a private channel on Discord, which means Discord processes them on our behalf as a third-party service.

Analytics, only if you allow it. We use PostHog to measure which pages people find useful. It does not load at all until you choose "Allow analytics" in the banner, and it does not load if you decline or ignore it. Your choice is stored in your browser so we do not have to keep asking, and you can change it at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Declining costs you nothing — every part of the site works either way.

Strictly necessary storage. We store your language choice, your light or dark theme preference, and your analytics decision in your browser. These never leave your device and are not used to identify you.

What we do not do. No advertising networks, no cross-site tracking, no selling or sharing of your details, and no profiling or automated decisions about you.

Your rights. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, withdraw your consent, or object to how we are using it. Email [email protected] and we will respond. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority; in Indonesia, to the relevant authority under UU PDP 27/2022.

How long we keep it. Enquiries are kept for as long as we are in conversation with you and for up to two years afterwards, so we have context if you come back. Analytics data is retained by PostHog according to their retention settings. Ask us and we will delete your enquiry sooner.

1. Who We Are

Solutive is an independent software company that builds mobile and web applications. Our products are available on iOS, Android, macOS, and the web. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What Data We Collect

The honest answer: almost nothing.

Our apps use a privacy-first architecture. All file processing — merging PDFs, splitting documents, converting images — happens entirely on your device using on-device code. Your files are never uploaded to, processed by, or transmitted to any Solutive server.

We do not currently collect:

  • Your name, email, or any contact information
  • The files you process with our apps
  • Usage analytics or behavioural data
  • Device identifiers or advertising IDs
  • Location data
  • Crash reports (unless explicitly submitted by you)

We may add anonymous, aggregate analytics in the future (e.g. how many users open the app per day) with a clear opt-out. We will update this policy before doing so.

3. No Account Required

Our apps work without any sign-up or login. You do not need to provide an email address or create a profile to use any feature, including premium features once purchased.

4. Your Files Stay on Your Device

When you use a Solutive app to process a file, that file never leaves your device. All operations are performed locally. We have no technical ability to access or view your files because they are never transmitted to us.

5. In-App Purchases

Premium features are available through in-app purchases managed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not process, store, or have access to your payment information. All billing, receipts, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google.

We use RevenueCat as a purchase management SDK to verify and manage subscription status across platforms. RevenueCat may process a minimal amount of data to verify your purchase (such as a non-reversible transaction token). You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • RevenueCat — purchase and subscription management. Privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts — typography, loaded on certain screens. Google may log a request to serve fonts. Google privacy policy.

Our apps use no advertising SDKs, social media tracking pixels, or analytics platforms. This website is different — see "This website" above.

7. Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will address it promptly.

8. Data Retention

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to retain or delete. Purchase verification data handled by RevenueCat is subject to their own retention policies. If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence only as long as needed to resolve your issue.

9. Your Rights (GDPR & Other Regulations)

Because we collect no personal data, standard rights under GDPR (access, portability, erasure) have minimal practical application. There is no personal data profile to request, port, or delete.

If you are a resident of the EEA, California (CCPA), or another jurisdiction with data privacy laws and have a concern, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Security

Because your files and personal information are never transmitted to us, the primary security responsibility rests with your device. We recommend keeping your operating system and apps up to date.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes (such as adding analytics) we will notify users within the app or via our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
