Proteger Official
A cycling protection brand, told properly online.
What we delivered
- Web
- CMS
- 01
The brand configures styles, colours and sizes
- 02
One authoritative catalogue
- 03
Published to the brand site, stockists and marketplaces
Before this, a product was whatever version each reseller had last copied.
Solid outline: built and run by us. Dashed: an external system the flow depends on.
The business
Proteger sells protective cycling gear in Indonesia, through its own channel and through several marketplaces.
The challenge
Proteger sells protective cycling gear through its own channels and several marketplaces. It needed one authoritative catalogue — variants, specifications, where to buy — controlled by the brand rather than scattered across resellers.
- 01
The catalogue had drifted across resellers
When every marketplace listing is maintained separately, a product becomes whatever version each reseller last copied. There was no single authoritative answer to what a product actually is.
- 02
Protective gear is bought on specification
Sizes, materials and protection detail are the purchase decision, not decoration. The variant structure had to carry real specification rather than a colour swatch.
- 03
“Where do I buy this” is a real question
Selling through physical stockists and online marketplaces at once means the site has to answer for both, without pretending the other does not exist.
- 04
The product has to be findable, not just the brand
Most people arrive searching for the gear rather than the name on it, so product pages are the entry point.
What we did
We built the brand site with a fully configurable catalogue: styles, colours and sizes managed by the team, a store locator covering both physical stockists and online marketplaces, and product pages structured to be found in search.
What we built
The brand site
One authoritative home for the catalogue, controlled by the brand rather than by its resellers.
A fully configurable catalogue
Styles, colours and sizes managed by the team, with no developer in the path.
A store locator across both channels
Physical stockists and online marketplaces in one answer to where to buy.
Product pages structured for search
Built to be found by someone searching for the product itself.
